My room was so dark when I made this, just this tiny tiny lamp. Now in Seattle I find myself very conscious of the lack of light and how it affects people.

All art is assumed to be pure expression, but sometimes I have to force myself to stop trying to talk and draw at the same time. The art thus produced might mirror my mood at the time, but subconsciously and not intentionally.
Or maybe I'll be too busy explaining to make something to explain.

I'd rather say it all completely with a picture.

If one can't create a truly excellent baked good without love, does it not follow that the world would be more peaceful a place if everyone made their own bread?

If not necessarily more peaceful, it would at least smell very nice.
